The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises the public that its St. John station remains offline due to a power outage affecting only the facility.

As a result, customers in the following areas may experience water outages or low water pressure:

St. George – Ridge Meadows, Sweet Bottom, Ashbury, Thorpes Cottage, Superlative, Bydes Mill, St. Judes, Glen Acres, Greens, Prerogative, Brighton, Drax Hall Hope, Glebe, The Mount, Fairview, Baird’s Village, The Farm, Upper Brighton, Drax Hall, Free Hill, Ellerton, Walkers Close, Workmans, Redland, Redland Plantation and surrounding areas.

St. John – Gall Hill, Coach Hill, Rosegate, Massiah Street, Four Roads, Clifton Hall, Pool, Church View and surrounding areas.

St. Philip – Breezy Hill, Church Village, Cottage Vale, Mount Pleasant Gardens, Moncrieffe and surrounding areas.

Investigations into the cause of the power outage are ongoing, and the Authority will provide further updates as information becomes available.

The Authority will continue to assist customers in the affected areas. However, due to the high demand for water tanker assistance, customers are advised that tanker deliveries may be delayed.
