The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is pleased to advise residents and businesses in parts of St. James that early this morning Tuesday, June 3rd crews completed emergency repairs on a large diameter main at Mango Drive.
Customers in the affected areas of Speightstown, Battaleys, Mullins, Heywoods, Gibbs, Lower Carlton, Porters, The Garden, Mount Standfast, Weston, Roadview and surrounding districts should expect a gradual return to normal water pressure. Water tankers will continue to assist if necessary.
The Barbados Water Authority apologises for the inconvenience caused by this emergency repair at Mango Drive, Porters, St. James and thanks customers for their understanding and patience. (ENDS)
