The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to update residents of St. Philip and Christ Church that completion of work conducted at Hampton, St. Philip yesterday, Wednesday July 12th was delayed due to complications with fittings.
The team continued to work tirelessly through the night and eventually completed the repair during the early hours of Thursday July 13th.
Consequently, customers at higher elevations in the distribution systems supplied from Hampton Pumping Station, will continue to experience low pressure and outages due to high demand until the pressures in the network return to normal.
The Authority apologises for any inconvenience the delayed restoration of the pipe-borne water supply to some of its valued customers may have caused and thanks you for your understanding and patience. (ENDS)
