The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to inform residents and businesses in parts of St. George, St. Michael, and St. Thomas that urgent work at a station in St. George today, Tuesday, September 22, 2026, is still ongoing.
The work, originally scheduled to conclude at 4:00 p.m., has been extended to 6:00 p.m.
As a result, customers in Roach Village, Paradise Village, Market Hill, Locust Hall, Locust Hall Terrace, Jericho, Bridge Cot, Belair, Newbury, Cottage Grove, Applewhaites, Bournes Village, Bibby’s Lane, Dayrell’s, The Palm, Proute, Hopewell, Content, Rock Hall and the surrounding areas may continue to experience a water outage or low pressure during this period.
Customers are advised to use their stored water sparingly until the work is completed and the water supply is restored.
The Authority will provide further updates on the status of the work and apologises for the extended disruption and any inconvenience caused. (ENDS)
