Today Friday, June 9th, the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to update residents of some St. John and St. George districts impacted by low pressure or outages, that its facility in St. John is once again operational and producing water to be sent into the distribution network.

Residents of the affected neighbourhoods are advised that it will take some time for the water pressure to return to normal in all areas.

Tanker crews will continue to assist persons in the affected districts as a temporary measure.

The Barbados Water Authority apologises for the inconvenience this service disruption may have caused and thanks customers for their understanding and patience.    (ENDS)
