The Barbados Water Authority is informing residents and businesses in parts of St. George and Christ Church that today, Friday, April 10, it is carrying out emergency repairs on a large-diameter main in the area of New Market, St. George.

As a result, customers in First Step, Lower Brighton, Waverley Cot, Buttals Tenantry, Good Intent, Eastlyn, Mannings Village, Walkers Valley, Constant, Windsor Tenantry, Campaign Castle, Brereton, Hannays Valley, Lower Greys, Dayrell’s Hill, Watts Village, South District and Boarded Hall in St. George; and Frere Pilgrim, Edey’s Village, St. Davids, Cox Road and Bannatyne in Christ Church, and surrounding areas, may experience a water outage or low water pressure.

Water tankers have been deployed to assist.

Repairs may extend into tomorrow, Saturday, April 11, and updates will be provided accordingly.
