The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) would like to share the updates below with residents and businesses in parts of St. Joseph and St. Andrew about the ongoing works at Cattlewash.

• The installation of two new water mains has been completed.

• The mains testing has also been finished, and the team is awaiting the analysis results.

• This analysis will determine how soon the mains can be put into service. If these results are negative, customers will begin to get back pipe-borne water as soon as Monday.

We will continue to share updates on the progress of the work.

Motorists traversing the area are reminded to do so cautiously as this stretch remains an active work site.

Water tanker crews will continue to assist residents of the areas still impacted by low water pressure or outages.

The BWA’s Customer Service personnel can be reached at 434-4292 for assistance.

The Barbados Water Authority apologises for the inconvenience and appreciates the patience and understanding of its valued customers in these parishes.   (ENDS)
