Today Saturday, May 31st 2025, the Barbados Water Authority advises that it will be conducting investigative work along the Pine North-South Road as it appears as if there may be another burst on the large diameter main.
While this still needs to be verified, a section of this road from the traffic lights at the bottom of Pine East-West Boulevard to its junction with Pine Hill will be closed to thru’ traffic between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm today Saturday. This is to allow for investigation and the necessary repair to be effected.
We wish to alert residents and business in parts of Christ Church and St. Michael that they may experience low pressure or outages during the work period.
Water tankers will continue to assist persons in the affected districts until the situation is resolved and updates will be provided on the matter.
The Barbados Water Authority apologises for any inconvenience caused by this extended service disruption. (ENDS)
