Barbados Water Authority teams conducting investigations in the Castle Grant distribution network have found and repaired a leak on the section of main isolated for inspection.
Today, Wednesday, July 10th, 2024 we can report that ongoing checks show a gradual increase in the water levels at the reservoir supplying customers at the higher elevations within the system. While this increase has been attributed to repair of the leak, crews will continue to monitor the flows in the area to ascertain if there are any additional leaks.
Customers in the St. Joseph areas previously impacted should expect their pipe-borne supply to return to normal gradually.
