The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to update customers in parts of St. Michael, St. George and Christ Church that one phase of the emergency work at St. Michael station was completed overnight and the facility was put back online early this morning Wednesday, October 7th.
However, the station will need to be taken offline again during the day today, Wednesday to allow personnel to safely replace a pump and the connected infrastructure.
When the facility goes offline again, customers may once more be impacted by low pressure or a water outage.
The Authority will share updates on the progress of these continued emergency repairs.
The BWA apologises for the inconvenience caused by this emergency work and thanks customers for their understanding and patience. (ENDS)
