The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to update residents of some St. Peter, St. James, St. Andrew and St. Lucy districts that emergency repairs are still underway on a main at Warleigh in St. Peter.
The Authority has put measures in place to restore water to some of the affected areas while work to complete the repair of the main is ongoing this afternoon, Friday, February 17th.
Customers in some of the stated neighbourhoods may continue to be affected by low pressure or outages until the repair of the now-confirmed 8-inch diameter pipe is complete.
Tanker crews will maintain the temporary supply of water to persons in the affected areas in the interim.
