The Barbados Water Authority informs residents of some St. Joseph and St. Andrew, districts today Monday, September 15th that it has had to stop pumping from two of its Stations to facilitate the urgent repair of a large-diameter main in Glenburnie, St. John.

As a result, customers in the following areas may experience low pressure or a water outage while the repairs are underway.

St. Joseph

Tent Bay, Cane Garden, Cleavers Hill, Gaggs Hill, Foster Hall, Joes River, St. Elizabeth Village and the immediate surrounding areas.

St. Andrew

Bawdens, Cambridge, Chalky Mount, Hopewell, St. Simons, Shorey Village and the immediate surrounding districts.

The Authority will make every effort to assist residents via tanker as a temporary measure and will update customers once repairs are complete.
