Ionics Freshwater Ltd. has advised the Barbados Water Authority of a problem at the Desalination Plant which is affecting production from that facility. The issue is being addressed; however, full resolution is not expected for a few days.
The BWA therefore wishes today Thursday, December 22nd to alert residents of a number of areas in St. James, St. Thomas and St. Peter that they may experience low water pressure or a water outage until the problem is resolved.

Lower Crick Hill
Warrens Terrace Warrens
Warrens Park South Clermont
Clearview Heights Husbands
Meadowvale Heights Crystal Heights
Greenwich and surrounding districts.
In St. Thomas
Bagatelle Gardens and surrounding areas.
In St. Peter
Speightstown and surrounding districts.
Customers in the above-mentioned areas who still have a pipe-borne supply are advised to store some water to assist. The Authority will make every effort to help residents in these districts via tanker while the problem persists.
