The Barbados Water Authority wishes to inform residents of St. Philip and Christ Church that the power supply to its Hampton Pumping Station has been disrupted and the station is offline. The team from the Barbados Light and Power is working to have service restored.

In the interim, customers in the following areas may experience water outages or low water pressure.

In Christ Church: Vauxhall, Durants, Seawell, Kingsland, Callenders, Lodge Road, Newton, Maxwell Hill, Bournes Land, Charnocks, Lowlands, Coverley, Fairview, Pilgrim Road, Kendall Hill Park, Gall Hill, Wotton, Harmony Lodge, Water Street, Ealing Park, Ealing Grove, Atlantic Shores, Enterprise, Chancery Lane, Inch Marlow, Silver Sands, Round Rock, Goodland, Green Garden, Hopewell, Carters Gap, Fairy Valley and the surrounding districts.

In St Philip: Heddings, Heddings Close, St. Martins, Rices, Gemswick, Bequest, Wheelers, Long Bay Village, Cave Land, Seaview, Work Hall, Apple Hall, Lynches, Merricks, Eastbourne, Crane Park, Belair, Cobblers Rock, Diamond Valley, Kirtons, Wilcox, Mangrove, Windward Gardens, Long Bay, Harry Smith, Well House, Bottom Bay, Benthams, Atlantic Park and the surrounding districts.

The Authority’s tanker crews have been deployed to assist. The BWA apologizes for the inconvenience this electrical outage has caused.    (ENDS)
