Ionics Freshwater Limited has advised the Barbados Water Authority that scheduled maintenance will be conducted at the Desalination Plant on the Mighty Grynner Highway beginning at 10:00 pm on Sunday, November 3rd. The work is expected to be completed around 10:00 pm on Monday, November 4th.
Persons in the following areas may experience low water pressure or a water outage during this period:

Appleby, Derricks, Fitts Village, Holetown, Jamestown Park, Mount Standfast Paynes Bay, Porters, Prospect, Sunset Crest, Trents, Sandy Lane, Lower Mount Standfast, Storehouse Gap, The Garden, Weston, Lower Crick Hill, Lower Carlton, Prior Park, Warrens Terrace Warrens, Warrens Park South, Clermont, Clearview Heights, Husbands, Meadowvale Heights, Crystal Heights, Hoyte’s Village, Seaview, Halcyon Heights, Sunset Ridge, Lancaster, Orange Hill, Apes Hill, Greenwich and surrounding districts.
In St. Thomas
Arch Hall, Bibby’s Lane, Cane Garden, Jackson, Jackson Terrace, Edgehill, Melrose, Arthur Seat, Welches Heights, Redman’s Village, Bagatelle Park, Bagatelle Gardens and surrounding areas.

Customers are advised to store some water to assist but the Authority will make every effort to help residents in these districts via tanker while the work is ongoing.
