The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) has been conducting investigations into reports of low pressure and intermittent water outages affecting residents and businesses in some parts of Christ Church.
Today, Friday, May 8th, the BWA can now inform that the problems are stemming from low water levels being experienced at the facility supplying the district of St. David’s and the surrounding areas.
These recurrent low levels are resulting in an inability to sustain a consistent water pressure going into the area thereby causing some residents to be impacted by low pressure and intermittent water outages.
The Authority will continue to assist residents via its water tanker fleet as a temporary measure while work to address the issue continues.
The Barbados Water Authority apologises sincerely for this service disruption to its valued customers and will continue to share updates on the matter. (ENDS)
