Ionics Freshwater Ltd. has advised the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) that emergency work will be conducted at the Desalination Plant on the Mighty Grynner Highway beginning today Tuesday, December 12th. This work may last until Friday, December 15th and is expected to only affect a part of the Plant’s operations.

The BWA has adjusted its distribution network to assist customers in the connected systems. However, residents in the following areas may experience low water pressure or a water outage during the stated period:
