The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to advise residents in parts of St George, St Michael and Christ Church who are experiencing intermittent water outages or low pressure that today, Wednesday, October 30th, investigations are underway regarding an electrical issue at the station.

 As a result, customers in some of the following areas may be affected by low-pressure or water outages:

In St. George

Turnpike, Carmichael, Constant, Dash Valley, Buttals, Buckley, Watts Village, Lower Greys, Ellerton and surrounding districts.

In Christ Church

Sargeant’s Village, Bartlett’s Tenantry, Frere Pilgrim, Edeys Village, St David’s and surrounding areas.

In St. Michael

Upton, Fort George, Wildey, Clapham and surrounding districts.

BWA personnel will continue their investigations to determine the exact source of the problem. In the meantime, the Authority’s tanker service will assist customers as a temporary measure while work to resolve the issue is ongoing.
