The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to advise residents in parts of St. Lucy & St. Peter who are being impacted by intermittent water outages and low pressure that investigations have today Monday, August 28th revealed that the issue is resulting from short stoppages which the Authority has been experiencing at one of its pumping stations in St. Peter.

This problem may be affecting residents of Alleynedale Road, Babbs and the immediate surrounding districts in St. Lucy; Upper Rose Hill, Mount Brevitor, Maynard’s Development, Maynard’s Housing Area, Coral Cliff, Benn Hill Woods, Retreat Road, Skeete’s Road, Ashton Hall, Douglas Development and the immediate surrounding areas in St. Peter.

BWA personnel will continue their investigations to determine the exact source of the problem. In the meantime, the Authority’s tanker service will continue to assist customers as a temporary measure while work to resolve the issue is ongoing.
