The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to inform the public that the Hope Desalination Plant is offline today Monday July 18th. Crews have been assigned to investigate.
The areas which may be affected in St. Lucy include Harrises, Mount Poyer, Hope Road and the immediate surrounding areas.
The Water Authority’s fleet of water tankers shall make every effort to assist residents of these areas as a temporary measure.
The Barbados Water Authority sincerely apologizes for this disruption in service. (ENDS)
