The Barbados Water Authority advises residents in parts of St. George and Christ Church that emergency repairs on a ruptured main at Carmichael in St. George are tonight, Saturday, November 5th now complete.
Customers in the affected areas will however continue to be impacted by a water outage into tomorrow Sunday, November 6th as the system must remain off overnight in order to allow the concrete laid to anchor the pipework to set.
Tankers will continue to assist residents until the system is restarted and recharges fully.
The Barbados Water Authority apologises for any inconvenience this service disruption has caused.
