The Barbados Water Authority informs residents and businesses in parts of St. Peter and St. Lucy that the Pumping Station which supplies them will be taken offline on Friday, February 9th between 9:00 am to 1:00 pm to facilitate electrical maintenance.
The Authority is putting measures in place to mitigate against widespread outages, however, in the unlikely event that there are outages or low pressure, customers in the following areas are advised to store some water to use during the period of work.
In St. Peter
Douglas Development, Church Hill Road, Tom Bend Road, Millionaire Road, Graves Road, Corbin’s Road, Clarke’s Road, Olton Road, Mount Brevitor, Brevitor Hall North & South, Rose Hill, Skeete’s Road, Pleasant Hall and Mile & Quarter.
In St. Lucy
Alleynedale, Benthams, Durhams, Chance Hall, Spring Garden , Round Rock and Spring Hall
and surrounding districts.
Water tankers will be dispatched to assist customers in the affected areas as a temporary measure if necessary.
