South Coast Water Reclamation Project – BA-L1063
The Barbados Water Authority has awarded a contract to upgrade the South Coast Sewage Treatment Plant at Graeme Hall, Christ Church. The project will retrofit the existing plant headworks and design and construct a new advanced water treatment facility, converting the current advanced preliminary wastewater treatment system into a tertiary/advanced treatment plant.
On completion, the upgraded facility will produce high-quality reclaimed water suitable for irrigation of edible food crops and/or groundwater recharge within the Christ Church non-potable aquifer.
