The Barbados Water Authority advises residents and businesses in St. Lucy that its ongoing swabbing exercise to address discoloured water issues in the parish continues on Friday, June 24th.

On Friday, crews will swab the main that runs between the junction of Colleton and Checker Hall and Content, St Lucy starting around 10:00 a.m. and ending around 6:00 p.m.

Residents and businesses in the following areas may be affected by low pressure or a water outage.

  • Shermans
  • Clinketts
  • Half Moon Fort
  • Fustic Village
  • Six Men’s Village
  • Sutherland Hill
  • Bromfield
  • Maycocks
  • Maycocks Development
  • Friendly Hall,
  • Husbands
  • Harrisons Plantation Road
  • Content

and surrounding districts.

In St. Peter Colleton Gardens and surrounding areas.

Residents are asked to store an adequate supply of water to assist during the stated period. Water tankers will also be dispatched to service the affected areas.
