This evening Monday, October 27th, Ionics Freshwater Limited has advised the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) that it is experiencing a technical challenge with the ongoing work at the Plant, which may impact residents and businesses in St. James, St. Thomas, and St. Peter.
The issue is being addressed, and restoration of the water supply is expected within the next twenty-four hours.
To assist during this period, our water tankers will make every effort to supply water to the affected customers.
The Authority will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as necessary until the matter is fully resolved.
