The Barbados Water Authority is tonight Tuesday May 30th advising residents of Storehouse Gap, Mount Standfast in St. James that it has had to isolate and shut off a section of the 8-inch main which passes through the district because of a burst sustained on the line.
The ruptured main will be repaired on Wednesday, May 31st and residents located between the Adventist Church and the top of Storehouse Gap who may suffer a water outage or low pressure as a result, will be assisted via water tanker as a temporary measure.
The Barbados Water Authority apologises for any inconvenience this service disruption in Storehouse Gap, Mount Standfast, St. James may cause. (ENDS)
