The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises that following investigation of a reported 6-inch burst main at Cane Vale in Christ Church, it has now confirmed a burst on a large-diameter transmission main which passes through this district, but serves other areas within the distribution network.
Repairs are scheduled to be carried out on Saturday May 2nd, 2026 commencing at 9:00 a.m.
No service disruption to customers is anticipated.
However, as a precaution, residents in Providence, Fairy Valley, Parish Land, Pilgrim Place, Charnocks, Chancery Lane, Silver Sands and the immediate surrounding areas are encouraged to store an adequate supply of water in the event of any unforeseen outages.
Water tankers will be dispatched if necessary.
