The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to inform residents in parts of St. James that it will be shutting off the water supply to districts along Highway 1 from Limegrove to Porters between 10:00 pm on Sunday, January 11th and 5:00 am on Monday, January 12th, 2026.
The work is being undertaken to make a connection for the new Royalton Vessence Barbados Hotel in Holetown.
Residents of the following areas will experience a water outage during these hours while the work is being conducted and are asked to store an adequate supply of water to assist.
- Limegrove
- Jamestown Park
- Trents Tenantry Road
- Trents
- Holetown
- Folkestone Park
- Porters
and surrounding areas.
