The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to advise customers in some areas of St. Lucy that one of its facilities that supplies them will be taken offline between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Thursday June 18th, 2026 for urgent repairs to be conducted at the station.
As a result, residents of Durham, Glendalough Road, Jemmott’s, Josey Hill, Lowlands, Mount View, Peterses, Rock Hall, St. Clements and surrounding districts may experience low water pressure or outages during these hours.
The Authority will make every effort to assist residents via tanker as a temporary measure.
