The Barbados Water Authority is advising residents and businesses in parts of St. Michael and Christ Church that work to complete repairs on the large diameter main on Pine North-South Road will continue on Friday June 30th starting around 9:30 am.

As a result, customers in Pine Gardens, Bayville, Bay Street, Blue Waters, Carters Gap, Chelsea Road, Dayrells Road, Deighton, Dover, Enterprise, Fairholme Gardens, Golf Club, Harts Gap, Hastings, Hythe Gardens, Keizer Hill, Kings Village, Marine Gardens, Maxwell, Navy Gardens, Oistins, Scarborough, Paradise Village, Rockley, St. Lawrence, St. Matthias, Top Rock, Welches, Worthing, Highway 7 and the surrounding areas may be affected by a water outage or low pressure.

Customers in the listed areas are advised to store some water to assist. Water tankers will be deployed to service the areas as well.

That section of road will be closed on Friday to allow the crews to conduct the repairs safely.
