The Barbados Water Authority informs residents of some St. Peter districts today Wednesday, August 21st that it has had to stop pumping from one of its Stations in the parish to facilitate the repair of a burst main in the system.
As a result, customers in the following areas may experience low pressure or a water outage while the repairs are being conducted.
Bakers, Crick Hill, Greenwich Village, Lancaster, Rock Dundo, Upper Carlton, Upper Mount Standfast, West Cliff, Westmoreland, Baker’s Tenantry, Baywoods, Benny Hall, Black Bess, Boscobelle, Castle Tenantry, Diamond Corner, Endeavour, Farmers, Four Hills, Gays Village, Indian Ground, Mangrove Terrace, Mount Stepney, Orange Hill, Pleasant Hall, Rock Hall, Roebuck, Sedge Pond, Sion Hill, St. Silas Heights, The Baltic, Water Hall Terrace and surrounding areas.
The Authority will make every effort to assist residents via tanker as a temporary measure and will update customers once repairs are complete.
