The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises residents and businesses in St. Andrew and St. Joseph that the two facilities which were recently taken offline to facilitate repairs in the distribution network are now back online.
As a result, water supply is being restored to the affected districts including Bawdens, Cambridge, Chalky Mount, Hopewell, St. Simons, Tent Bay, Cane Garden, Cleavers Hill, Gaggs Hill, Foster Hall, Joes River, St. Elizabeth Village and surrounding areas.
The Authority’s water tankers will remain in the area to assist residents while the system returns to normal.
The BWA apologizes for the inconvenience these disruptions may have caused and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
