The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises residents and businesses in some St. Andrew districts today Thursday, September 25th, 2025 that it has stopped pumping from one of its facilities to conduct emergency repairs in the network.
As a result, customers Bawdens, Cambridge, Chalky Mount, Hopewell, St. Simons and the immediate surrounding districts may experience low pressure or a water outage while investigations and repairs are underway.
Persons are advised to store some water to assist while repairs are being conducted.
The Barbados Water Authority apologizes for the inconvenience this service disruption may cause. (ENDS)
