The Barbados Water Authority informs residents of some St. Lucy and St. Peter, districts today Friday, August 22nd that it has had to stop pumping from one of its Stations in the north to facilitate the urgent repair of a large-diameter burst main in Durhams, St. Lucy.
As a result, customers in the following areas may experience low pressure or a water outage while the repairs are underway.
St Lucy
Durhams, Jemmott’s, Rock Hall, Mount View, Josey Hill, Lowlands, Date Tree Hill, Church Hill, Mount Gay, Alexandra, Peterses, Cave Hill, Glendolough Road, The Risk, Castle Tenantry, St. Clements, Lamberts and the immediate surrounding areas.
St Peter
Oxford and the immediate surrounding areas.
The Authority will make every effort to assist residents via tanker as a temporary measure and will update customers once repairs are complete.
