The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to inform residents and businesses in St. Lucy and St. Peter that as of today, Friday, August 22nd, 2025, repairs to the large-diameter main, which impacted operations at one of the Authority’s facilities in St. Lucy, have been completed, and the system is now back online.
As a temporary measure, the Authority’s tankers will continue to assist residents in any areas that may still be experiencing outages while supply fully normalizes.
The BWA apologizes for the inconvenience caused and sincerely thanks affected customers for their patience and understanding. (ENDS)
