The Barbados Water Authority informs residents of some St. George districts today Thursday, May 22nd that it has had to stop pumping from one of its Stations in the parish to facilitate the repair of a burst main in the system.

As a result, customers in the following areas may experience low pressure or a water outage while the repairs are being conducted.

Applewhaites, Baird’s Village, Belair, Bridge Cot, Briggs Hill, Byde Mill, Christie Village, Cottage, Cottage Terrace, Drax Hall, Dukes Tenantry, Fairview, Fairview Heights, Farm Road, Forty Acres, Free Hill, Grand View, Greens, Groves Tenantry, Harmony, Jordans, Locust Hall, Middleton, Newbury, Paradise, Prerogative, Proute, Retreat, Roach Village, Rock Hall, Workmans, Salisbury, Shop Hill, St. Helen’s, St. Judes, Superlative, Taitt Hill, Vaucluse Tenantry, White Hill Tenantry, Workmans and surrounding areas.

The Authority will make every effort to assist residents via tanker as a temporary measure and will update customers once repairs are complete.
