The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to inform residents and businesses in parts of St. Michael, Christ Church and St. George that on Thursday, May 21st one of its St Michael stations will be taken offline between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 pm to facilitate urgent repairs.
As a result, customers in Bayville, Chelsea Road, Deighton, Kings Village, Dayrells Road, Harts Gap, Hastings, Bay Street, St. Matthias, Marine Gardens, Navy Gardens, Rockley, Golf Club, Blue Waters, Worthing, St. Lawrence, Paradise Village, Top Rock, Dover, Maxwell, Fairholme Gardens, Hythe Gardens, Welches, Oistins, Scarborough, Keizer Hill, Enterprise, Dash Valley, Monroe Village, Salters, Neils, The Belle, Belle Tenantry, Licorish Village, My Lords Hill, Flint Hall, Welches, Martinique Road, Government Hill, Pine Plantation, Pine Gardens, Two Mile Hill, Upper Collymore Rock, Brittons Hill, Waterford, Codrington, Spooner’s Hill, Bush Hall, Tudor Bridge, Grazettes, Station Hill, Fairfield Cross Road, Mapp Hill, Mount Friendship, Lower Burney, St. Barnabas, Pinelands, Highgate Gardens, Flagstaff, Clapham, Wildey, Fort George Heights, Elizabeth Park, Regency Park, Sheraton Park, Sargeants Village, Warners Park, Warners Terrace, Briar Hall, Graeme Hall, Rendezvous, Bartletts Tenantry, Club Morgan, Haggatt Hall, Howells Cross Road and the immediate surrounding areas may experience low pressure or a water outage while work is underway.
Persons are encouraged to store some water to support their needs during this period. The Authority will provide temporary assistance via water tanker to the affected districts.
