The Barbados Water Authority today Wednesday June 21st advises residents of some St. John and St. Philip districts that it has been forced to take one of its facilities in St John offline. This action is to facilitate the investigation and possible repair of a suspected burst main in vicinity of Pool, St. John.
Areas expected to be impacted by low pressure or water outages are Bath Land, Carters, Cherry Grove, Cheshire, Cliff Cottage, Coach Hill, Codrington, Colleton, Colleton Gardens, Gall Hill, Glebe, Guinea Land, Haynes Hill, Henley, Lemon Arbor, Macaroni Village, Massiah Street, Moncrieffe, Moores Land, Mount Pleasant Gardens, Pool Land, Rose Gate, Sargeant Street, Sherbourne, Small Hope, Society Hill, Spoones, Stewart Hill, Todd’s Tenantry, Wakefield Tenantry, Welch Village and surrounding areas.
The Authority will make every effort to assist customers in the affected areas via water tanker as a temporary measure.
