The Barbados Water Authority today Wednesday April 23rd advises residents of some St. John and St. George districts that it has been forced to take one of its facilities in St John offline. This action is to facilitate the repair of a burst main near Pool in St. John.
Areas expected to be impacted by low pressure or water outages may include Glebe Land, Walkers, Ellerton, Brighton, Mount Hill, Walkers Terrace, Bath Land, Carters, Cherry Grove, Cheshire, Cliff Cottage, Coach Hill, Codrington, Colleton, Colleton Gardens, Gall Hill, Glebe, Guinea Land, Haynes Hill, Henley, Lemon Arbor, Macaroni Village, Massiah Street, Moncrieffe, Moores Land, Mount Pleasant Gardens, Pool Land, Rosegate, Sargeant Street, Sherbourne, Small Hope, Society Hill, Spoones, Stewart Hill, Todd’s Tenantry, Wakefield Tenantry, Welch Village and surrounding areas.
The Authority will make every effort to assist customers in the affected areas via water tanker as a temporary measure.
