The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) informs customers that it will be making urgent connections from Fryers Well Gap to Judge Gap, St. Lucy on Friday, April 24th, 2026 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M.
As a result, residents of Sherman’s, Half Moon Fort, Clinketts, Sutherland Hill, Fustic, Fryers Well and Checker Hall may be impacted by low pressure or water outages during these hours.
Persons are asked to store an adequate supply of water to assist while the work is being conducted. Water Tankers will be dispatched to assist customers as a temporary measure.
A traffic diversion will be in place for motorists to use the road leading from Colleton to Checker Hall via Fustic while the work is being conducted.
The BWA apologizes for any inconvenience this service disruption may cause the residents of the impacted areas. (ENDS)
