The Barbados Water Authority advises residents in some parts of St. Andrew, St. Thomas and St. Joseph that on Thursday, July 30th, 2026 between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. crews will be installing a number of flow meters at one of its facilities in St. George and making connections in the network.
As a result, customers in following areas may be affected by water outages or low water pressure:
In St. Andrew:
Turner’s Hall, Gregg Farm, Apes Hill, Church Gap, Hillaby, White Hill, Bruce Vale and surrounding districts.
In St. Thomas:
Hillaby, Farmers, Airy Cot, Upper Canefield, Cane Garden, Friendship, Dunscombe, Spring Farm, Porey Spring, Content Tenantry, Chapman Village, Bloomsbury, Carrington Village, Lower Canefield, Sturges, Welchman Hall, Highland, Lion Castle, Endeavour, Clifton Hill, Walkes Spring, Clifton Tenantry, Strong Hope and surrounding areas.
In St. Joseph:
Baxters, Dark Hole, Coconut Grove, Bissex, Mellows, Parks, Melvin’s Hill, Fruitful Hill, Spa Hill, St. Bernard’s Village, Chimborazo, Sugar Hill, Braggs Hill, Lammings, Airy Hill and surrounding districts.
Tankers will be dispatched to assist any affected residents while the work is being conducted.
