The Barbados Water Authority advises that today, Monday, October 2nd, it is investigating reports of low pressure and water outages in some St James and St Thomas areas.
The issues appear to be impacting customers in Orange Hill, Apes Hill (higher elevations) in St. James, Rock Hall, Shop Hill in St. Thomas and surrounding districts.
Investigations by the Authority’s Non-Revenue Unit will focus on possible bursts in the water lines servicing these areas.
Tanker crews have been dispatched to assist the residents in these areas and will continue to service the affected areas as a temporary measure while the Authority investigates the source of the problem.
The BWA apologises for the inconvenience these emergency investigations may cause.
