The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises residents of parts of St. Michael that one of its facilities in the parish is currently offline due to a leaking seal, resulting in significant water loss. As a result, there has been a reduction in supply to the Cave Hill Distribution System.
Repairs are scheduled to begin tomorrow, Monday, February 24th.
While an immediate service disruption may not occur, customers in the following areas are advised to store an adequate supply of water as a precaution, as low pressure or outages may develop in the interim:
- Waterford
- Codrington
- Spooner’s Hill
- Bush Hall
- Tudor Bridge
- Grazettes
- Station Hill
- Fairfield Cross Road
- and the immediate surrounding areas.
