Today, Saturday, August 22, 2026, the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises residents and businesses in sections of St. John, St. George and St. Philip that is currently experiencing low reservoir levels at one of its facilities in St. John.
As a result, customers in the following areas may experience low water pressure or temporary water outages:
St. John:
Lemon Arbor, Wakefield Tenantry, Spooners, Pool Land, Sherbourne, Cherry Grove, Henley, Cheshire, Moores Land, Small Hope, Carters, Gall Hill, Massiah Street, Rose Gate, Guinea Land, Stewart Hill, Colleton, Cliff Cottage, Welch Village, Bath Land, Colleton Gardens, Coach Hill, Haynes Hill, Sargeant Street, Codrington, Society Hill and the immediate surrounding districts.
St. George:
Glebe, Macaroni Village, Todd’s Tenantry and the immediate surrounding areas.
St. Philip:
Mount Pleasant Gardens, Moncrieffe and the immediate surrounding districts.
The BWA’s water tankers will assist residents in the affected areas as a temporary measure.
