The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to inform residents of some districts in Christ Church that a facility in St Philip is experiencing low reservoir levels. As a result, customers located in some of the following areas may experience low water pressure or water outage.
As a result, residents and businesses in Fairview, Dolphin Park, Kingsland, Water Street, Lowlands, Coverley, Four Square Valley, Parish Land, Pitchers Hill, St. Patrick’s, Thyme Bottom, Walronds, Woodbourne, Bright Hill, Newton Terrace, Newton Park, Wotton, Kendal Hill, Gibbons, Gibbons Terrace, Balls Land, Callenders, Pilgrim Place, Charnocks, Southern Heights, BGI Airport, Charnocks, St. Martins, Highlands, Packers, Leadvale, Oldbury, Yorkshire and surrounding areas may experience low pressure or a water outage during this time.
Water tankers have been dispatched to assist customers in these districts and will continue to service the areas while the problem persists.
Residents in the listed districts who still have access to pipe-borne water are asked to store an adequate amount in the event their supply is impacted.
