UPDATE #1: STATIONS OFFLINE TO FACILITATE URGENT TECHNICAL REPAIRS
The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises residents and businesses in parts of St. George and St. Thomas that, as of today, Saturday, September 6th, 2025, two stations in St. George have been taken offline to facilitate urgent technical repairs.
As a result, customers in the following areas may experience water outages or low pressure:
St. George:
Applewhaites, Baird’s Village, Belair, Bridge Cot, Briggs Hill, Byde Mill, Christie Village, Cottage, Cottage Terrace, Drax Hall, Dukes Tenantry, Fairview, Fairview Heights, Farm Road, Grand View, Green’s, Groves Tenantry, Harmony, Helen’s, Judes, Jordans, Locust Hall, Middleton, Newbury, Paradise, Prerogative, Proute, Retreat, Roach Village, Salisbury, Superlative, Taitt Hill, Workmans, and the immediate surrounding areas.
St. Thomas:
Bridgefield, Campaign Hope Well, Christie Village, Content, Edgehill, Forty Acres, Hopewell, Melrose, Rock Hall, Shop Hill, Valley View, Vaucluse Tenantry, West View, White Hill Tenantry, Whitehall, and surrounding districts.
Water tankers have been dispatched to provide temporary assistance to affected residents.
