The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) informs residents and businesses in parts of St. George and Christ Church that today Friday, August 8th, it is experiencing challenges at one of its pumping stations which have resulted in a reduction of water supply to some districts.
As a result, customers in Upton, South District, St. David’s, Boarded Hall, Dash Valley, The Estates, Ellerton, The Mount, Brighton, Ridge View and surrounding areas may experience low water pressure or outages.
Persons are advised to store an adequate supply of water to assist. The Authority’s water tankers will make every effort to service the affected areas as a temporary measure.
