The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises today, Wednesday, October 26th, that it is experiencing challenges at one of the sources that supply water into the Castle Grant distribution network.
As a result, residents in Horse Hill, Sugar Hill and parts of Chimborazo and the surrounding areas in St. Joseph may currently be experiencing low pressure or a water outage.
BWA personnel are investigating the problem, which it suspects stems from a leak or burst on a main within the system.
The Authority will make every effort to help residents in these districts via water tankers while the problem persists.
The Barbados Water Authority apologizes for the inconvenience this service disruption in the higher elevations of St. Joseph may have caused. (ENDS)
