The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to advise residents and businesses in Maycocks, St. Lucy that it will be decommissioning a water main in the area on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
No interruption to the water supply is expected. However, in the unlikely event of a service disruption, it should be temporary and may affect customers in Maycocks, Broomefield, Checker Hall and Husbands.
The BWA apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause and thanks the public for its understanding and cooperation. (ENDS)
