The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises the public that as part of its ongoing Mains Replacement Project in Mount Poyer, crews will continue roadworks at Trents, St. Lucy, on Tuesday, August 5th and Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day.
This phase of the project involves cutting across the roadway from Mount Poyer Road to Hannays Road. (see image below).
As a result,
- access to through traffic will be restricted during the hours of work
- one lane will remain open at all times to allow limited passage; and
- traffic will be diverted where necessary.
Flag personnel will be on site to assist, but delays should be expected. Motorists are reminded to obey all signs and directions from personnel on site and are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible.
